PRESS RELEASE:
2025-2026 Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps is on the press
AURORA, ON (July 17, 2025) – The much anticipated 2025-2026 edition of the Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps is now complete and is at the printers with an expected delivery date of early September 2025.

The Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps is widely recognized as the industry leading catalogue for listings and values of Specialized Canadian stamps. Under the new editorial direction of Patrick Durbano, this edition has incorporated many new features and undergone the first of several in-depth pricing reviews. Patrick Durbano is a long-time philatelist, stamp dealer and exhibitor. He was previously the editor of the OHMS perfin section of the catalogue. He is also a member of the VG Greene Philatelic Foundation’s Expertizing Committee, sits on the board of directors of the Canadian Stamp Dealers’ Association and is a member of the RPSC and BNAPS.
This 2025-2026 edition is also a milestone for Unitrade Publishing as it marks the first time that the Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps will be presented in two easy-to-handle, user-friendly volumes.
- The CLASSICS volume includes all material from 1851 to 1952, including booklets up to BK44, most back-of-the-book stamps as well as issues from all five provinces, plus 2-Ring, 4-Ring, and Squared Circle postmarks. This much needed CLASSICS volume includes over 250 price changes, a full Canadian “on cover” price review, some new constant plate varieties plus many new and updated images.
- The ELIZABETHAN volume covers all material from 1953 to 2025, including booklets from BK45 onward, semi-postal stamps, Canada Post collections, and uncut press sheets. It also includes over 1,200 price changes, many new varieties as well as new and updated images.
The Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps remains the benchmark reference used by collectors, dealers, and auction houses for Canada and BNA stamps.
“This two-volume edition is a first for Unitrade,” said Andrea Casa, Owner, Unitrade Associates, “we listened to what collectors and dealers wanted and created a catalogue with them in mind. This is now the new standard for Canadian Stamp Catalogues.” Patrick Durbano added, “It was an honour to be able to edit such a well-respected catalogue. I want to thank Unitrade for allowing me to make the changes that I did for the betterment of the catalogue and the Canadian collectors at large.”
