A major development is underway in the local stamp community. Firmin Wyndels, the owner of Victoria-based Weeda Stamps and Garden City Philatelic Auctions, has announced that he will acquire All Nations Stamp & Coin which is based in Vancouver.
Brian Grant Duff, the long-time dealer/owner of All Nations is retiring, but will stay on for a transitional period and continue their weekly auctions. Firmin plans to maintain the All Nations store on Dunbar Street in Vancouver, as well as the Weeda and Garden City operations on Princess Street in Victoria.
Firmin’s goal is to accommodate all levels of collectors, from beginner to advanced, with access to a variety of services when the time comes to buying or selling material.
He said, “We encourage all collectors to check out the Weekly Auction Sales at All Nations, the Monthly Auction Sales at Weeda and diverse large Auction Sales offered by Garden City (all companies have current sales online).”
