Hospital for Sick Children’s Early Christmas Appeals

This month’s topic is:  “A Social and Philatelic History of the Hospital for Sick Children’s Early Christmas Appeals” by Jean Wang. She will present printed material from the Hospital’s early Christmas fundraising appeals, highlighting how messaging and images changed over time to reflect both a changing society and the transformation of the Hospital from a Christian charity to a modern institution for pediatric treatment and research.
