No. 1 - Occupied Jersey, Channel Islands to Exeter, England

Dated 10 July, 1942, this German Red Cross Message Form was sent by the German Red Cross from occupied Jersey, Channel Islands via Paris and Berlin to the International Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland. The International Red Cross then sent it to the British Red Cross in London where it was examined and passed by British Censor #P 153. The British Red Cross then sent it on to Exeter, England. It arrived on 31 October, 1942. The answer, after being examined by British Censor #P 241, was sent back to Geneva and on to Berlin & Paris before being delivered to Jersey.
